Welcome to Freedom Baptist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama. Our Motto is "God Can". We are a  brand new ministry. The need arose to have in  Wetumpka  an Old Fashioned- King James Bible Preaching and Teaching Church that would be open and welcoming to all people. 

We stand without apology for the old time religion,  preaching, teaching, and singing with conservative Godly values.  Our Church is a New Testament Church with the goal to reach this lost world for Christ, both here in Wetumpka and around the world. 

Our Pastor is  Retired SMSgt Jim Lester, a 27 year veteran of the USAF. We are  seeking people to partner with us to build a new work for the Lord here in the Wetumpka area. The city is continually growing, and there are few churches in the area still holding the line. We pray as you read our welcome that if you are lost, we want to see you saved, but if you are saved and seeking a good church to serve the Lord, we invite you to come visit.
